I'm not at all sure of when I am going to stop. I have 5 18" dollies, will be ordering Jess this weekend, and have a very, very long list of the other AG's I want. I would very much like to one day obtain all the historicals, with possibly an extra Josefina (she's so darn pretty!). My teachers have all said I'm an excellent writer, so I'd love to make up a few personalities for some of the AGT's (from various time periods), and there are about 10 AGT's I would love to have. PLUS Lindsey and Kailey. And any other LE's, friend dolls, AGT's, or historicals I like. Crud!!! On an estimate, that's about 20 more of them!!! EEK! I don't know if I will ever stop getting AG dolls. I love them so much, they make me happy. Jess will hopefully be here by next weekend (ordering her tomorrow night), and then I would LOVE Addy, then Kaya, then Elizabeth, then an AGT...It's like an endless cycle.

I should have also said only historical dolls (I don't collect AGT dolls). But even with those, I'm trying to be more selective than I was. I read Kaya's books first and didn't connect with her or her collection (especially that it was so limited) so I didn't get her despite the fact that she has a unique face mold. I used to think I needed every historical doll, so it's amazed me that I haven't gotten Kaya!
I don't think I really want Emily since Molly, Susan, and Linda seemed to be three peas in a pod and it's disappointing to me that Molly won't have her two "for real" best friends. I think Emily would have to be really different and unique for me to want the doll, but right now I'm betting she'll have the Josefina/Nellie/Elizabeth face mold. Have you heard rumors that she might have a different one? (I miss many of the posts.) That would be wonderful!

I'm pretty content with my doll collection right now. Pretty content. I'd really like to further my girls', particularly historical girls', collections, but even that has been put on hold. I got my last girl in January, and I don't *think* another one will be coming until Christmas, or fall at least. That would be AGT 25...I have a great personality planned out for her. I'm trying to be very picky with the LE and friend dolls, though. They have to be absolutely perfect for me to get them. Not that every doll isn't beautiful, but I have 11 18" dolls now, I have to be picky.
I have two. I really would like Jess and Nellie, bringing my grand total to four ...
I would like Kit, and maybe after that, AGOT 4 as a friend doll for Sara (I do my best to treat her as a historical doll, and historical dolls get friend dolls, right?) And now I will say that I don't want any more after that, and two or three years from now, you will see me totally eat my words, I'm sure.
I am really content with my two dolls. I could go for three. I would like a AGOT that looks like me. So as soon as AG comes out with a light skin, short brown hair with no bangs and brown (or hazel) eyes, I will get her. I need someone to wear the few AGOT outfits I love.
I'm conflicted on if I would get an Emily or a Ruthie doll if they come out. I feel the friends are part of the original doll's collection and am trying to complete both collections, but I think I would be overwhelmed both financially and physically. I'm also torn if I will want to get the outfits for the friend dolls if I don't get the doll. I can't wait to see what they look like. Ruthie would be so adorable. She might sway me, or I might be overwhelmed and change my stance on if the Friends are part of the original collection or if they are separate.
After Kirsten, I will probably only collect LE's. But only the LE's that I like. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
That is, unless, they make some TOTALLY awesome new historical. I'll HAVE to get her! [img]wink.gif[/img]
I think I may stop at somewhere between 7 and 10 AGs (I have 3 right now).
This really is a great topic. I think I am nearing my limit. All I want at the moment are Kit and Kailey. I am sure when a new LE or Historical (or Friend Doll) gets released I'll be one of the first on line for them. I have been trying for Kit on E-Bay, but it just isn't working out for me. I want the darker blue eyes, not the new lighter shade. I know I will win her someday though.
